Kansas Whitetail Deer Hunting
If you're looking for a quality deer hunt in true Kansas style, give us a look at Czechland Outfitters. We have access to prime deer habitat encompassing over 8,000 acres within a 30 mile radius from the lodge. This allows our hunters to experience a truly solitary hunt with very little to no pressure from other hunters.
The land consists of creek bottoms with heavy wooded draws surrounded by corn, milo, soybean, sunflower and CRP fields. We have over 75 stands and a dozen box blinds in place and ready to hunt when you arrive. It is very hard to find a straight tree in Kansas, therefore, a majority of the stands are ladder stands, but we also hunt out of hang on stands. We recommend all hunters wear their safety harnesses at all times while in the tree.
The guides will take you to and from your hunting area and stand locations in the mornings and evenings. Hunters are more than welcome to hunt all day or whatever hours they prefer. During your hunt, if you notice a specific area that looks promising, just let us know and we'll formulate a game plan together to either scout it or hang a stand.
Czechland Outfitters takes great pride in quality deer management. Our goal is to harvest mature deer. In order to ensure a quality hunt for you and others that follow we have implemented a 130" gross minimum score on any deer shot. A fine will be issued for any buck scoring under 130" gross.
Kansas Archery Deer Hunting
The Archery season starts on the first day of October and runs through the end of December. Archery Hunts are located in Unit #8. All hunts are 5 day/6 night hunts, lodging included.
Rich Frasier - Oklahoma
Kansas Rifle Deer Hunting
The Rifle season starts the Wednesday after Thanksgiving and runs to the second Sunday in December. Rifle hunts are located in Unit 8. All hunts are 5 day/6 night hunts, lodging included.
Kansas Deer Permits
Whether rifle or bow, are obtained through a lottery drawing by the State of Kansas.
Application Deadline
The application deadline for the lottery is April 1st through April 30th. Czechland Outfitters will notify you at the time of application, the applicant is responsible for applying. We will provide any assistance necessary in filling them out.

Kansas Hunter Education
Required if you were born after July 1, 1957. You must carry your card with you. If hunting in Kansas, you must have a hunting license plus your permit. The hunting license is good for the calendar year, and entitles you to hunt small game and game birds also.
